Summary:

Venezuelan hyperinflation is leading the unbanked to starvation. People can’t buy food with their devalued bills. Digital/McKinsey partnered up with Alimentos Polar, the most socially responsible food company in Venezuela, to develop a machine that allows the unbanked to buy food with the weight of their devalued bills. In exchange, Alimentos Polar will turn these bills into packaging material.
